The Bilingual Language Lab focuses on research studying the language skills of children, both typical and atypical learners, who are dual language learners, with a primary subject population of Latino children who are DLL. In particular, we are interested in studying the intersectionality of child-internal features with child-external features and how these inform DLL variable development. We are also interested in the dynamic relationship between skill in both languages and performance across language tasks.
