Clinics & Services
Support for our community
The mission of our department is to serve the community by advancing innovative basic and applied research in communication sciences and disorders for the purpose of knowledge acquisition, student education, professional training, and clinical practice.
Our department is home to a Hearing Clinic, a Speech-Language Clinic, Assessment Clinics, a Preschool program, and several support groups. These resources are available to people of all ages.
Robert L. Milisen Speech-Language and Hearing Clinics
Residents from across south-central Indiana come to the Robert L. Milisen Speech-Language and Hearing Clinics for diagnosis and treatment, making the clinics a primary avenue for the intersection between the university and the public. Students-in-training are supervised under licensed and nationally certified audiologists and speech-language pathologists. Our clinical practice and range of services are rooted in and infused with state-of-the-art research information, including discoveries made within our own department.
Additional programs & services
Our department and clinics do not discriminate in the delivery of services for any reason including race, color, ethnicity, sex, age, gender identity/gender expression, religion, creed, national origin, sexual orientation, veteran status, disability, culture, language or dialect.
