The Parkinson’s Support Group is for adults with Parkinson’s disease (PD) or other parkinsonian syndromes (PSP, MSA, DBD, VaP, etc.) and their spouse/partner(s) or care. Meetings are educational in nature and discussions address relevant topics of interest such as fall prevention, safe options for exercise, interaction of foods and medications commonly prescribed for PD, and effective ways to communicate. Spouses or other family members and care are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Monthly group meetings are held on the first Friday of every month from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Parking is available directly in front of the clinic. An online option is also available. To obtain more information or the link for the online group, please contact Carrie Wade carawade@iu.edu 812-856-0856.
