Sara Rogers, Au.D., is a clinical associate professor in the Indiana University Department of Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences. She earned her B.S. (2008), M.S. (2009) and Au.D. (2011) from Indiana University. Dr. Rogers started working at IU in 2011 working on two clinical trials with Dr. Larry Humes as a research audiologist. These 5-year clinical trials focused on different service delivery models for hearing aids to adults and an auditory training program for adults.
In 2017, Dr. Rogers joined the clinical faculty full-time. She co-developed the implantable devices program and a walk-in hearing aid clinic at the IU Hearing Clinic. She has a special interest in working with cochlear implant recipients and patients with bone-anchored hearing devices, providing pediatric electrophysiological evaluations, and providing diagnostic hearing evaluations and fitting amplification for all ages. Outside of work, she enjoys keeping up with her two sons and husband, reading, and finding new things to do in Bloomington.
