Kimberly Skinner, Au.D., CCC-A is a Ph.D. candidate working with Drs. Humes, Forrest, and Lentz. She began the Ph.D. program in speech and hearing sciences in the Fall of 2014 after 18 years as a clinical audiologist. Her research interests include speech perception and aging, cognitive audiology, the effects of hearing loss on speech production, and tinnitus. She is currently working on a project looking at cognitive effort experienced by hearing impaired talkers.
