About Megan Diekhoff
Megan is a doctoral student in the Department of Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences. She graduated with her B.A. in SLHS and Spanish in May 2019 from Indiana University. Following her graduation, she served as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant at La Universidad Santo Tomás in Villavicencio, Meta, Colombia before returning to IU for graduate school. Megan is mentored by Dr. Steven Lulich in the Speech Production Lab. Her interests include articulatory phonetics (as it relates to typical development, speech sound disorders, and second language acquisition), speech imaging, rhotic speech sounds, and proprioception of the tongue, among others. In her free time, Megan enjoys hiking, crocheting, and thinking up new ice cream flavors for her family's restaurant in southern Indiana, the Windmill Chill.
